Boys and Girls,
Today we will begin to organize our facts on the state that we have chosen to research. We will be creating posters to share the information we have found. Remember, you want to inform other students all about your STATE! Be sure to include all necessary facts and details that describe those facts. (Don't just say: "It's climate is warm." Tell us temperatures, weather patterns, and DETAILS!)

Mukhtar's Week In Review
This week at school we learned how to convert fractions into percents and then into a decimal.Today we had Wellness on Wheels. This week we played the concentration game.Yesterday we also had a concert that the 3rd graders preformed but the 4th graders coudn't go because we had a field trip.We also had a band concert on Wendsday,April 29th where 5th and 6th graders come together to preform. This week we also did a program to save sea turtles.
AnneMarie's Week In Review
Dear whoever is reading ,
This week we did many fun things. In math we learned congruent and similar and their meanings. In reading we read Into The Sea.We also had Wellness on Wheels. In math we also did fractions, percents, and decimals. We also played the game Concentration. Another thing we did was have a field trip.We went to the rivers and did science stuff like make boats and cars.On Wednesday we went to a band concert which had many wonderful players. Another thing that we acknowledge is the royal wedding.Miss Mulvahill got a hat and she says the next prince wants to marry her! Jokes! As you can see there are a lot of things that we did and what I hope to do next week.
Sincerely,
Miss AnneMarie Natalie Bittner

Homework Tonight 4/13
Students are coming home with a lot of great activities to work on tonight!
1. They need to complete 15 minutes on IXL Math. Remember that 15 minutes is the minimum, but they are welcomed to go above and beyond! Students need to first work on problem: 4.3.2.3. Why? It will help them study for their test coming on Monday! Also, I will be counting their SmartScore as a quiz grade in our gradebook.
2. Many students have already finishing the comprehension check for our story this week: A Peddler's Dream. However, if it is not yet done, it is homework tonight. Don't forget to use page numbers to show me where you found your information--PROVE your answer is right!
3. Finally, students have a quick spelling worksheet. It should not take students more than 5-10 minutes and it will help students stay fresh for their test on Friday.
Have a great night and see you tomorrow!
