Thursday Update

Hello students and families,

This has been a busy week in room 214. Here are a few updates and homework reminders.

5th Grade Reading: Don't forget that we are having our Kate Shelley test tomorrow. Parents, you should see a 'Family Times' along with your student's homework at home tonight. If you did not finish any of your independent work from class today, it is due tomorrow at the beginning of our first class period.

5th Grade Math: Tomorrow we are continuing to work with remainders. Please complete the homework from your Math Journal tonight. **Explain to your parents why and when you would interpret the remainder.**

3rd Grade Writing: What is your mystery object? DON'T SAY! Remember not to tell anyone until tomorrow after you share your paragraph. :)

3rd Grade Reading: Great work reading Race to the South Pole! Tell you parents all you learned about Robert Scott and the South Pole.

3rd Grade Math: We are learning about place value. Today, we looked at different populations in different cities around the country. Students had to compare and contrast the different populations. Tomorrow, we will continue to work on our understanding of place value.

See you tomorrow!
