Updates from room 214

Hello families and students!

It has been great getting to know many of your families through conferences this past week. Students, I have enjoyed sharing all of your hard work in the classroom. Here is an update from today:

5th Math:

6.4 Study Link is due tomorrow. Discuss with your parents why someone might take a sample of a population. Would you trust a small or a large sample size more??

5th Reading:

Test tomorrow! The Sugihara Story. Don't forget to complete 2 of the 5 comprehension questions.

Also, if you haven't yet, remember to be prepared to "teach the class."

3rd Math:

What are the different parts of a fraction? Can you think of a real like use for fractions?

8.1 Homelink due tomorrow!

3rd Writing:

What makes up a paragraph? Tomorrow we will continue to work on our final drafts of our season paragraphs.

Don't forget to stop by the Book Fair! Unfortunately, you will NOT be seeing me in a Captain Underpants Costume! :)
