Families and Students of the 3rd Grade,
We have now begun the process of working on our research reports. All students in the 3rd grade are currently researching "monkeys." However, students have chosen specific topics that they are interested in digging further into. Therefore, the research papers will vary on their contents. Many students asked if it would be alright for them to do some of their research at home. I strongly encourage students to work both at home and at school on their project. We have not yet gone over the note-taking process, but we will do so within the next week. Also, we will be discussing plagiarism (how to make sure we're not doing it) in the next week as well.
I look forward to learning more about monkeys from the students' work!
