week in review by marta komendant

This week we made poems (couplets) and they were very fun!In gym we had five days instead of four, and we didmay olympics. We also had a late start (a two hour) late start on Wednessday. On Wednessday we also had comfy day! Only I wasn't there,Ihad to miss it because I had an A.P.T. In reading we learned about context clues. We also took a reading test on the computer. We also went to the library to pick out knew books , and one book that is just right for us so then after we read it we will write a report on it. We did our spelling test and if we got 17 or more correct on our pre test then we have to write the words in cursive on our real spelling test. Well that's it for the week bye!

  1. This week in gym we did cooperative games. One game was the human knot. Human knot is when you have 5-8 people and you hold hands with somone but can not be a person next to you.Another game was Ball Passover. Ball Passover is when a ball or object is in the huola-hoop and you can not use your arms, elbows, or hands. Only your feet or legs. Pass the object to the next person. My group was Peyton, Jenna, Mukhatar, Reggie, Ian and me. Mr.May had to blow the whistle because he ran out of items for my group. In math we learned the metric system and the U.S. customary system. We also learned more about adding and subtracting decimals. In reading we learned about context clues and read about Komodo dragons. A new thing we did was take a reading test on the computer. That was our awesome week!
