A Note From Chance!

Dear parents,

This year so far we have learned partial sums addition and column addition for the past two days.This week in spelling we are working on the suffixes -er and -est.In reading so far we have learned about setting, sequencing, compare & contrast, and author's purpose .The thinking maps we have learned are the circle map, the tree map, the double bubble map, and the multi-flow map.Our other reading skills or C.A.F.E. skills are check for understanding, back up and reread, cross checking, and tune in to interesting words and use new vocabulary in speaking and writing.We've also been learning four kinds of sentences imperative, interoggative, imperative, and exclamatory sentences.Also in handwriting we have learned 12 letters in cursive so far, I will list all of them here r,s,t,f,i,u,w,e,l,b,and k.That's what we have been learning in class so far.
